MEET YOUR DOULA

 Meet your doula

     Liné Donnelly

Hello!

As an end of life doula (EOLD) I believe that our end of life experiences deserve to be dignified, with as much choice as possible, and with those around us supported. EOLDs are here to be an extra layer of compassionate death care and aid for our communities. Doulas know that there are gaps in the United States health care structure so we operate as a bridge between your loved one and family and hospice.

Whether the dying person is at home, in an assisted living situation, or in a board and care home we are there to be an advocate and extra layer of support. We are available to your loved one and family from diagnosis to bereavement, or any stage in between.

On occasion we liaise with the medical team that you are working with. We do not replace any of the wonderful medical professionals on your care team. We are there as an additional non-medical aid.

As a layer of non-prescription, structured care, we provide an additional set of ears and eyes, and serve as a trusted guide.  We are also mandated reporters.  We have more individual time to spend with your loved one in these final moments of life than a hospice nurse might.  We are a guiding presence for you and your family.

As an International End Of Life Doula Association trained guide, I am well equipped with the tools and knowledge to assist your family in navigating the sacred and sensitive season that is end of life.

I am a life long resident of Ventura County. I serve Ventura, Camarillo, Oxnard, Ojai, Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, and Westlake.

As an EOLD all of my work is done in the strictest confidence.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me! I am grateful for your curiosity and interest in who I am and what I do.
